# Helping homeless animals
> Leaving stray animals unattended is not only cruel but also dangerous for the animals and others around them. It is not uncommon for homeless animals to suffer from starvation, illness and injury, and they can also cause accidents on the roads or attack people. Therefore, it is very important not to leave stray animals unattended, but to help them as much as possible. This can be by sheltering animals, caring for them on the street, or finding new homes. Each of us can do our part to help our four-legged friends, and the more people think about it, the more animals will be able to get the help and care they need.
### Building animal shelters
Building shelters for homeless animals is a very important task. Unfortunately, many animals end up on the streets because of people's inattention or indifference. They face starvation, disease, and cruelty. Shelters make it possible to provide them with temporary shelter, treatment and care.
However, building shelters is a costly undertaking that requires significant financial outlay. In this case, volunteers can play a big role in helping the **Doge Secret** Project and our mission. Not only can they help financially, but they can also help spread the word about our project to more people, raise awareness about the problem of homeless animals, and raise awareness about the need to build shelters.
